Whether it’s by personal watercraft, powerboat or sailboat, the Highland Lakes beckon you. The cities, counties, state and Lower Colorado River Authority provide several boat ramps up and down the chain of lakes: Buchanan, Inks, LBJ, Marble Falls and Travis.
There’s no better way to really feel a part of the Highland Lakes than by taking a cruise. If you don’t own a boat, pick up a copy of the Picayune Area-Wide Phone Book and look up some of the marinas and operations that rent watercraft.
Water skiers, wakeboarders and powerboat enthusiasts know the Highland Lakes are great places to splash down.
Don’t you think it’s about time you joined the fun?
